Top 10 Beauty Products

Everyone that knows me well knows that when I like a particular product I am like a walking infomercial for it. I thought I'd make a list of some of my favorite products and why I love them so much!!!

Personal Hygiene:
1. Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil-It works really well removing makeup and makes my face feel really soft and fresh.
2. Noxzema -My face is oily so this cream is so good to use and it leaves my face feeling so fresh also because of the menthol and eucalyptus.
3. Bactine - Yes I use this on my face!! It kills the bacteria but it's gentle and never dries out my skin. It's a miracle worker for blemishes.
4. Queen Helene Mint Julep Mask-This mask has saved my face!! The sulphur in it helps to get rid of blemishes and the mint is so refreshing and leaves your face so smooth and healthy feeling.
5. Bare Minerals Foundation- My complexion has actually gotten better since switching to this foundation! I will never go back to any other kind of liquid or pressed powder foundation. It covers so well and I never feel like I have makeup on my face. It's wonderful and one tin lasts me 6 months-and I use it daily!
7. Crystal Deodorant- This works so well and its lasted me well over a year and this is definitely the only thing that has worked consistently even in the summer!
8. Philosophy Hope in a Jar- I cannot even tell you how happy my face is that I started using this moisturizer!!! It leaves my face smooth and moisturizes well without leaving my face greasy.
9. Schick Intuition Razor-Always a close shave and leaves my legs so soft n smooth.
10. Act Restoring Mouthwash- My brothers dentist recommended it to him last year when he had a cavity that was starting to develop. He used it the 6 months and then when he went back for his next checkup he had no cavity! Magic i tell you! Magic.

Bedroom-The Look

I found this photo on dominomag.com and it pretty much sums up the look and feel that I want my room to have. That is the perfect blue that I have been looking for-for some reason to me it seems "antique-y" {note: antique-y is a term only professionals use, hehe ;) }.
I am also diggin the frame collage above the bed. I saved another photo with a similar look to it a while back:


This will probably be more my speed with the old family photos and framed doilies; as my {young} friends here affectionately call me, "old lady" :) I've made peace with that though. I'll happily keep my knitting, embroidery and other old lady crafts over drinking and hookah bars!

Decorating

In May my apartment will go from 5 girls back down to 4 (2 leaving, 1 imported from Michigan!) and we are going to finally decorate this house because right now it's quite pathetic looking. We decided that since Veronica (V), Marisa (M), and I have different tastes we will each pick a room in the house and decorate it how we want. V gets the sewing room, M gets the living room and I get the kitchen! I will be posting photos and ideas of how I plan on decorating the living room and my bedroom in this blog along with other "domestic" related things.
